The only reason I use Instagram is because I can push images out to Facebook, Twiiter, and Tumblr without having to use a VPN.

And yes, photos as experiences, Instagram is great.  But don’t think its serious photography.

Yes there are outliers making money, and I like to see what my friends do, but filters should be used with intent.  To make something already great better, not to make something bad seem ok.

This is a video in which an artist took images from famous places all over the world, taken by different people.

I agree with the commentary, when you see how much is the same, it is kinda depressing, or a relief for those that make a living with imagery 🙂

Here is my Instagram, of a hutong, the filter and lens were used with intent to create a mood and look that enhances the image. At least I hope so.
